De Rimba renames dish in memory of loyal customer - by Achong Tanjong

"De Rimba Restaurant has renamed one of its dishes in memory of a loyal client who passed away at the end of Ramadhan.
The Kuey Tiaw menu is now known as Kuey Tiaw Jambul Murad, after the late Jambul bin Haji Murad.
"Over the last six years, Jambul was a loyal customer who visited our restaurant twice or three times a day, whenever he was in the country. Everyone of us here misses him. He was a nice patron," said restaurant manager Mohammad.
"Meanwhile, Pehin Khatib Hj Mustapha and Haji Ishak, the brother of late Jambul, said, "Whenever we had a family function at my parents or siblings home, we had to order separately from De Rimba Restaurant because my brother refused to eat anything else.

Awang Jambul bin Haji Murad was my Grandfather's first cousin. I personally miss him dearly too. He always had a sweet smile whenever we bumped into each other.

Its 10th Syawal today. My last entry was when Ramadhan started. Ertinya I have been neglecting my blog. But hey it is still not too late to wish all my Family and Muslim Friends Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri.. Maaf Zahir & Batin. Halalkan segala yang termakan dan terminum.
Raya this year is different. It is my first time celebrating it with the Husband. Alhamdulillah. Im loving every moment of it. But Raya this year mcm sekajap I think because by the 3rd day raya we all have to go to work sudah. Okay... Keraja ku byk menunggu!! weheee...

Marhaban Ya Ramadhan...

Selamat menunaikan ibadah Puasa dan semoga Amalan kita semua dibulan yang penuh berkat ini di berikan ganjaran berlipat ganda dan diterima oleh Allah S.W.T .. Amin! Dikesempatan ani jua. The Husband and myself ingin memohon maaf Zahir dan Batin for all our wrongdoings. We love you all...

Dear Families and Friends,

I think all of you so often when I think about my wedding day. Every little girls have their own wedding dreams and I am no exception. Since I was a little girl, I have always loved weddings. I love to see how the bride being groomed and wears beautiful dresses. I remember being a flower girl or 'Pengiap' few times when I was small and I really loved it.. kira perasan mcm pengantin lah tu.

Words just cannot even begin to describe how thankful I am to have had you all from making my very own wedding a success. All of you turned one of the most special days of my life into an incredible and wonderful one that I and so many others will always remember. It was also the fun, unique spirit that you brought to the events. I knew that everything was going to be taken care of, and I could relax and enjoy. When I was looking for people who would share my dream for a celebration that would suit Our (boy and me) personality, you guys not only shared in my dreams, you guys enhanced it, and made it more than we could have wished for. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Boy and I will forever remember on the perfect ceremonies from Nikah, Malam Berbedak, Bersanding to Malam Ambil-Ambilan that have been very wonderful and they never would have been that way without you all. Once again Huge Thank you to all of you Families and Friends sincerely from the bottom of our heart. Mudah-mudahan Allah S.W.T membalas jasa biskita semua. Amin. Sorry I just cant mention all names here coz there are just too many to mention. but you know who you are... I love you all...

If only Babu and Mimit were here... It would have been more wonderful. Both of them were always in my heart throughout the ceremonies. I miss you both so much. Al-Fatihah.

Ties the Knot

Alhamdulillah after 10 years we have been together. On the 28th June 2009, we are offically Husband and wife. I love you sayang with all my heart... Thank you for all the love you have given me all these years.
